For two decades ZZ-KC has toured coast-to-coast, performing at some of America's most renowned venues and events. Proudly sharing the stage with such greats as: B.B. KING, TED NUGENT, 38 SPECIAL, FOGHAT, STEPPENWOLF, and MOLLY HATCHET, among other greats. Based out of Kansas City, ZZ-KC is the nation's longest running national touring tribute to the amazing ZZ TOP.
They look forward to providing you with the entertainment that will make your upcoming event an overwhelming success!

D.W. D'wood (guitar and vocals)
Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, D'wood bought his first guitar in '71 and has been influenced by the amazing Rev. Willy G ever since, offering up phenomenal renditions of those trademark guitar licks and blues rooted vocals that are the essence of ZZ Top. D'Wood has performed nation wide for over two decades, with such artists as the late Jimmie Van Zant from the Lynyrd Skynyrd family, as well as being cast as Keith Richards in the internationally acclaimed Rolling Stones experience "Satisfaction."

 Lew Spring (Bass and Vocals)

Lew began his rock and roll journey in the Midwest town of Topeka, Ks. Playing in southern and classic rock bands and touring the Midwest while still in high school. Playing guitar, bass and eventually lead vocalist and front man . His bands opened for the likes of Night Ranger, Eddie Money and Joan Jett. In the mid 80's he replaced Martina McBride in a rock band out of Hutchinson, Ks. "She insisted on doing more country and they wanted a male lead singer." Oh well I guess she did okay! Spring brings over 40 years of musical experience to ZZ-KC and through the years has evolved into a true "bluesman" that prides himself in replicating the world renowned persona, vocals, and bass guitar lines of the legendary Dusty Hill.

Brian Eads (Drums)
Veteran rock drummer Brian Eads shares many striking similarities with ZZ Top’s Frank Beard.  Both were born on June 11 in small towns that serve as county seats and ironically both towns were born in 1822!  Beard and Eads joined their first rock & roll bands as teenagers and both share a love of the Texas shuffle, double shuffle, and hard rockin’ blues. Eads possesses the unique talent of recreating Beard’s signature drum tones and playing style that sets the blues based foundation of ZZ-KC.
